Born a 45-minute drive to the New York state line, Tony Vineberg grew up in Montreal listening to Soul, Blues, Classical, and Jazz tracks from his father's record collection. He was inspired to pick up the guitar by his then-brother-in-law, a Calypso singer, guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder of the 1970s' Barbadian group, The Sandpebbles.
